I would never buy a Baby Bjorn again. The carrier is overpriced for what it is. It is, in all effects, a newborn/infant carrier. It’s a LOT of money to lay down for a carrier that you can use for less than a year, and in many cases it is much less than a year.
The carrier also poses some comfort/positioning concerns. For the person wearing the carrier, it just isn’t very supportive. It’s better than older models, but still not comfortable by any means once your baby weighs more than 10 lbs.
The carrier also hangs baby by his/her crotch, which is not good for their hips and spine. There are much better options out there, and most of them cost significantly less than this carrier.

Of all the slings I have this is my husbands favorite. He uses it as well. My son is so happy in it. Loves to see everything and kicks away in excitement. It is easy to use and adjust to each person once you get the hang of it. Washes well (I would try the protective bib). It does keep you on the cooler side so you don’t get so sweaty using it. Also lets baby be more comfortable. My back hurt with use over 30-45 mins. but this is just me. My husband had no problem. When we go into a restaurant we bring this just in case. Their have been many times my husband has put our son in it and continued to sit and eat. Calms him down right away.

I’ve gotten this carrier for my new born baby that’s due in March. I have been trying out with my little niece since she was 10 months old and she is 13 months now. She loved to be in the carrier facing out. her hands and legs are free and thus giving her all the movements she wanted when i brought her out for some shopping.
You have to take note in having the carrier properly tighten to your body to ensure a good fit. read up the manual and you’re good to go in no time. Great design, great product.

I have been extremely pleased with the Babybjorn Synergy. The material is light/airy and the ease of use is fantastic. We hiked for 1.5h twice with our 12 pound, 3 month old daughter and the carrier worked well for that. It does not have the hip support of other carriers, but the fact that it closes all in the front (with color coded snaps) made it a great choice for us. Additionally, the carrier worked well for both myself (5′4″) and my husband (6′0″) and is fully adjustable. It is a definite upgrade over the original Babybjorn due to the lumbar support and the lighter, breathable material.

My baby is 3 months old, weights about 15 lbs and loves to be in the carrier! I’ve carried her for 2-3 hours at the time without any type of back pain and/or discomfort. Getting the baby in and out is easy, as well as adjusting the straps for proper fitting. Since I’ve only used the carrier during the fall/winter months, I can’t really comment on the “cooling system.”
The only negative I’ve found is that the carrier does not have a way to secure the BABYBJORN cover (which is purchase separately).
I would definitely buy this product again! It is totally worth every penny!
